Youth Lyra - Skills & Drills: For those who already have some basic lyra experience who would like to add some new tricks to their vocabulary, as well as build strength, flexibility, & stamina. We’ll include more conditioning, build on the introductory lyra moves, as well as learn transitions below, in, and on top of the hoop.
Prerequisite skills:
-Must have taken Youth Intro to Aerial
-Be able to execute the “mermaid” move
-Be able to hold a double knee hang on the bottom bar without hands
-Comfortable inverting to get both knees on the top bar
-Able to hang from both hands for 10 seconds
